Regional Finals Qualification
This year’s LCQ will be a one-day double elimination tournament taking place on July 31st. In the same process as our Elite Qualifiers, any team which would like to attempt to qualify for the Challenger Finals may sign up for the LCQ.
LCQ
The teams with the most Challenger points which sign up will be seeded into a Double Elimination bracket and the top teams from Saturday’s competition will move on to Regional Finals Phase 1.
The LCQ will not play out in entirety and will stop once each region fills all its qualification spots.
- 32 NA Teams play for 8 qualification spots
- 32 EU Teams play for 8 qualification spots
- 16 APAC Teams play for 4 qualification spots
Direct Invites
After Challengers Open #5, top teams from each region (based on their Open #5 rosters and Challenger points earned all year) will auto qualify for the Challengers Finals in their region. This means if you believe that you have a shot at Regional Finals you must participate in either Open #5 or the LCQ.
